CREATING A VIRTUAL HARD DRIVE IN WINDOWS

For creating a virtual hard drive you need to follow these simple steps see below:

Tap on windows button and type "computer" in search field, select "computer management".



1. In computer management select "Disk management" then "Action" and click on "create VHD".




2.  Browse to any of your Hard Drive and type the file nae whatever you want. 
Choose the size in GB ( if you want 500GB virtual hard drive, then type 500 in the blank space). Select Dynamic.


3. In Disk Management you will see the virtual drive listed as unallocated space.


4. To begin using it you need to "Right click" and select "Initialize disk".


5. In the initialize disk box just keep MBR selected and click OK.


6.  Now it is time to creating the volume by Right-clicking the unallocated space and select new simple volume.


7. Now the new volume Wizard box will be appeared click on NEXT and then again NEXT.


8. The Wizard is completed and click on FINISH.

With this you have created an virtual Hard Drive in your computer. You can create it with any size.
